
āElĀ Tiburonā, is the artistic name given to Luis Linares. Luis was born on September 29th 1972, into a gipsy family with a long and accredited tradition inĀ flamenco. This list includes his grandfather, Jose Cepero,”El Poeta”, his aunt Rita Ortega, uncle Juan Serrano, father and mentor Jose Linares, “El Patriarca”, and mother Carmen Linares, “La Chiqui”. Tibu grew up in a home, which doubled as his parentāsĀ flamencoĀ dance studio, occasionally watching and absorbing dance classes and rehearsals. Luis devoured his fatherāsĀ flamencoĀ guitar and cante tutelage from a very young age. Later honing his skills accompanying Fandango and Danza Hispana in San Antonio and The BostonĀ FlamencoĀ Ballet. Luis later went on to study with El Pulga, and Santiago Aguilar, and has had the opportunity to take a few guitar and a structure classes with Jose Luis Rodriguez, as well as cante with Vicente Redondo āEl Pecasā. Tibu has performed in Ecuador, Mexico, Germany, Spain and through out the United States. He recently finished an eight-month contract on Royal Caribbeanās Voyager, as headliner in the 1500 seat La Scala Theatre. Luis is currently finishing up his third album due to be release later this year, working on a clever, original screenplay, āTHE VIDEO DIARY OF MIGUEL CORTEZā and writing fresh music and lyrics to his distinctive, original theatricalĀ flamencoĀ show, “Vivo y SueƱoĀ Flamenco”.
Tibu has had the pleasure of working with Antonio Hidalgo, Jose Junco, Jose Moreno, Liliana de la Caridad, Roberto Castellon, Clarita Filguiras, Vicente Griego, Valeria Montes, Nata Novela, Kyoko Terrada, Canela, Antonio Santa Ella, Martin Gaxiola, Edwin Aparicio, Carlota Santana, Teo Morca as well as many others.

Jorge Luis Perez āRomerito de Huelvaā, based himself in Sevilla and Huelva, studying with respected guitarist Mario Escudero, and Jose Luis Rodriguez. Jorge Luis became the first Latin American to be awarded the title ofHonorary Member of the PeƱa Flamenco de Huelva, giving him the opportunity to accompany such great Flamenco singers as EduardoĀ Garrocho, ManoloĀ Castilla, and the incomparableĀ PacoĀ Toronjo.Ā RomeritoĀ has performedĀ with such companies asĀ Jose Greco II, Carlota Santanaās Flamenco Vivo, andĀ BailesĀ Ferrer amongst others. He has also been featured in Festivals such as Michiganās International Festival of World MusicĀ andĀ the University of NewĀ Mexicoās FestivalĀ Internacional.Ā He has worked in cross-cultural fusion projects with local South Florida artists and companies such as JoeĀ ZeytoonianĀ of Harmonic Motion and RichardĀ BrookensĀ ofĀ Yellowbell, and the Association of Performing Arts of India.

AnaelyĀ Mahia, began her flamenco dance studies at La Academia del CentroĀ AndaluzĀ de la Habana and theĀ FlamencaĀ EcosĀ Company. She would later continue her education with prestigiousĀ teachers of the genre like MariaĀ Juncal, Antonio ElĀ Pipa, GabrielaĀ Gutarra, Antonio Delgado amongst others. Sheās been part of many prestigiousĀ internacionalĀ events such as LaĀ HuellaĀ deĀ Espana, Festival Flamenco Barcelona 2010, She has also performed throughout Russia, Sweden and Estonia.Ā AnaelyĀ now resides in Miami and works the local flamencoĀ tablaoĀ scene and teaches aĀ ndĀ choreographs at Jennieās Dance Studio.

Julio Perez, is a self-taught percussionistĀ who has developed his tremendous style, absorbing the intricate Cuban and Spanish rhythms first in his homeland of Cuba and later touring the world. Julio has shared the stage with David Torrens,Ā Juan Carlos SuĆ”rez,Ā Efrain Amador,Ā M. Alfonso,Ā PolitoĀ Ibanez,Ā Tony Avila, as well as members ofĀ the world renown āBuena Vista Social Clubā. I addition to performing on multiple cruise shipsĀ Julio has performed in Sweden, Russia, Italy, France, as well as theĀ BellasĀ ArtesĀ in Havana.
